Every year Pantone announces their pick for the color of the year, a choice that effects more industries than you think. Of course it affect the fashion industry, but truly every industry that sells a product is impacted!

This yellow-green tone is warm and bold, a color that is both action-affirming and optimistic.

Since color is their business, Pantone has called themselves the  “global color authority,” and has all sorts of designers, stylists and color lovers that wait each year with high anticipation for the annual announcement. And yes, this TOTALLY reminds me of the scene in Devil Wears Prada where Anne Hathaway gets a quick lesson on color choices from Meryl Streep.
